What a customer should expect from it

Spirabelt has been on the market since 2001 and more than 750 belts have been delivered worldwide directly from Feltri Marone/Cristini.

The experience we have gathered so far permits us to confidently claim the following results:

LIFE:
La durata di questo tappeto è paragonabile, se non addirittura superiore, a quella di ogni tappeto tradizionale, ovviamente in presenza di un impianto ben mantenuto (sistema di pressione con pattini, cilindri e piastre calde puliti e ben allineati, sistemi di sollevamento del tappeto efficienti ed efficace sistema di guida.)
EVEN THICKNESS:
The expected life of this belt is close, if not superior, to any traditional needled or woven belts.
BETTER BOARD:
The board dries much more quickly and uniformly than with a heavy and closed belt. The result is that the board exits the machine already dry and perfect to be processed into boxes with no need to wait hours before shipping/processing. The board is flatter, perfectly "crisp" and of superior appearance.
SUITABLE FOR ALL TYPE OF PAPERS:
It is capable of handling even the most difficult and impermeable papers.
LESS ENERGY:
The energy required to drive the main motor is reduced between 15% and 50%, with the majority of machines experiencing a reduction in Amps of approximately 30%. Furthermore, the heat applied at the hot plates can be significantly reduced, thus saving steam.
LESS GLUE CONSUMPTION:
Since the board dryes faster it is necessary to reduce the amount of glue applied.
HIGHER BOARD CALIPER:
Less glue means less deformation of the flute tip.
LIGHTER WEIGHT:
It greatly helps in reducing installation time.
NO SEAM:
Once the belt is joined the seam is invisible. This eliminates all the problems of possible marking/failure due to wear of the material protecting the seaming hooks. Perfect for light and small flutes (E,F,G,N flutes) but it has shown the ability to produce heavy grades as well, up to 2600 gsm triple wall boards with K flutes.
PERFECTLY CLEAN ALL THE LIFE:
It maintains its consistent, high permeability throughout its entire life. There is no need to wash it, to scrape the excess glue out etc.
HIGHER SPEEDS CAN BE ATTAINED:
The double backer can be run faster on most paper grades without affecting bond due to the more efficient removal of moisture from the board edges.
REDUCED WASTE:
The customer can expect a measurable reduction in controllable waste resulting from less edge delamination at the double backer, fewer jammed/rejected sheets on in-feeders and improved cutting/scoring on the die-cutters.
IMPROVED SAFETY:
There is no more need for operators to scrape the surface of the belt from starch residues since starch simply will not stick to the surface of the belt.
